New Presidential Aide for Security Named

President Lee Myung-bak on Monday named Chun Young-woo, the second vice foreign minister, as senior presidential secretary for foreign affairs and security. Cheong Wa Dae spokeswoman Kim Hee-jung told reporters that Chun, in cooperation with Foreign Minister Kim Sung-hwan, will faithfully assist the president. "He will support the Foreign Ministry's efforts to reform itself and deal with pressing issues such as diplomacy toward the four major powers and the upcoming G20 Seoul Summit," she said.
